D'amore Chocolates

I like chocolate considerably less because of this project.

This is a paper bag design for a fictional chocolate brand. I created a chocolate brand because I love chocolate. That choice would come back to bite me in the posterior. The name of the brand, D'amore, is an amalgamation of D.A.M. (me) and amore (Italian for love) because everyone knows when you think of love you think of flowers. Chocolate? Wait, was it supposed to be chocolate?

I wanted it to have a more refined and luxurious brand, in the same leagues of Ghiradelli or Lindlt so I used a simple color palette of brown, and a much darker brown. The simplicity speaks to the quality, as the customers don't need flashy or attention grabbing colors or patterns to be drawn in, but the chocolate dripping from the top gives the viewer a bit of eye candy as well.
