The two main ideas at play are the Y being a person symbolizing that the people, however few of them there may be, are what makes the ministry. Secondly, the Earth being in the... Is that a hand or is the whole thing an arm? Anyway, it symbolizes that the future of the world is in the hands of the youth. For better or worse, hopefully for better.

The logo was printed on shirts for what I presume was Youth Sunday. But since I wasn't actually there, I don't really know
